How we help

A practical path forward

Every situation is different. We listen first, then help assemble the resources needed to move from crisis toward stability.

01

Safety

Safe shelter and relocation, California Safe at Home address protection, a more secure online presence, documentation, and court accompaniment for restraining-order support.

03

Freedom

Career guidance, training referrals, free job-placement resources, and practical support toward the income needed for independent living.

Our mission

Secure the family’s safety—online and on the ground.

LIL WEE TOO continues the work of DVISR, Inc., using practical tools, investigation, advocacy, and trusted resources to help survivors create safe, self-sustaining lives away from abuse.

Founded in 2012, the organization serves domestic-violence survivors, children, elders, and other vulnerable adults with respect, discretion, and persistence.

Volunteer dedication with lasting results

Families helped. Lives changed.

Since 2012, DVISR, Inc., now serving families as LIL WEE TOO, has stood beside victims through difficult cases and the work of rebuilding their lives.

7 felony counts

Our work helped secure seven felony counts in a child sexual abuse case.

$3.5 million

Our advocacy helped secure an out-of-court settlement for another juvenile victim.

Families reunited

We helped mothers reunite with children they had not seen for years and helped families escape severe abuse.

Our support has included funding restraining-order and family-law attorneys, psychological therapy, and accompanying families to their court appearances. These are past outcomes; every case is different.

In their words

Hope becomes a plan.

“Awesome day in court yesterday! I got a lifetime restraining order against my abusive ex-husband, which is very rare. Thank you for the angels at DVISR who were sent to help me.”

— J., parent

“Once the law can’t help, people do not know about all the other resources available. I had prayed for help and you appeared. What a gift. Thank you.”

— D., parent

“DVISR found us safe housing, food, and clothes so I could train as a medical assistant. Now I have a great job and a place for my daughters and me. They showed me I could support myself.”

— C., parent

Faith & safety

The Bible does not require anyone to remain in abuse.

Violence and oppression

Scripture consistently condemns violence and the abuse of power. God stands with people who are oppressed and calls communities to protect the vulnerable and expose wrongdoing.

Justice and accountability

Love of justice means refusing to tolerate abuse, seeking lawful protection, and holding offenders accountable. Many acts of domestic violence are crimes and should be addressed by the proper authorities.

Repentance and reconciliation

Genuine repentance requires responsibility, restitution, accountability, and sustained change. A survivor is never obligated to return to danger or participate in an abuser’s repentance process.

Separation, divorce, and forgiveness

Forgiveness must never be used to pressure someone back into an unsafe relationship. Separation can be necessary for safety. Survivors deserve compassionate spiritual, emotional, and legal support.

Healing and hope

Healing may take time, but pain does not have the final word. Faith communities can offer practical care, truth, protection, and patient support without blame or pressure.

Treasures with a second chance

Antique Treasures

Generous people have donated antiques to LIL WEE TOO. Some arrived with a broken pane or another imperfection, so we repaired them with care and gave each piece a new beginning.

Each item is offered for a clearly marked minimum donation. These special treasures can find new homes while helping survivors and vulnerable adults move toward safety, healing, and freedom.

Our promise: Every known repair or imperfection will be clearly shown and described before you choose an item.
